This new moon asks us what thoughts, beliefs, ideologies, habits we’ve been hypnotized into. What has the outer-culture shoved down our throats, perhaps silently in the night? What have we quietly accepted as truth, even if it burns in our throats and bellies? What are the somatic and mental patterns we’ve been enslaved to? These trances can take shapes like addiction, avoidance, obsession with perfection, extreme apathy, and anything else that kills or quiets the human spirit.
Most importantly, this new moon calls these hypnotic trances into full consciousness, so they may be unraveled, so we may instill new, balanced and life-giving patterns in their place.
There is no one who will rescue us, no leader to show us the way. The task is ours alone, to stare boldly into the face of our own shadows, to soak them in oceans of love. All trances, no matter how violent or terrible, crumble in a heaving ocean of unconditional love.
In this portal, we’ll practice a series of movements, breathe, and chanting to break addictive patterns in psyche that cause harm to self or others. The series works on the entire nervous system and glandular system, allowing perfect conditions for a balanced psyche.
We’ll practice a simple ritual to release old patterns, making space for what this new moon cycle will bring. This ritual is meant to access your own ancestral wisdom in your unique DNA, which allows your inner guidance to light your way forward.
To end, we plant seeds as the moon begins to wax. Deep in oceanic love, all is given life. We consciously choose what we wish to create from the crumbling ground beneath us. We take our place in the great circle as the love we were born to be.
