This new moon calls us into a more embodied and integrated sense of peace, balance, justice, and harmonization of all parts of the whole.
When the enemy within has been met, pulled out of the shadow of blame and exile, we have hope for peace. If the enemy remains disowned, tortured by lack of love and feeling, we cannot heal. We cannot know wholeness.
When we are ready, there is a way to move into the shadows that brings a different kind of radiance. There is a way to scoop up the forgotten parts that rage silently in the dark against our skulls. The parts that wreak havoc on our mental, emotional, physical states. We can lift them up into the light to see that maybe they are not the monsters we imagine them to be. Maybe they are scared, small creatures, split off from our hearts sometime long ago. In the light of love and awareness, even the wildest monsters are weeping children, worthy of love.
This kind of work feeds the world. F*ck the patriarchy, yes. AND, notice where in you the patriarchy is still fighting for control. And instead of banishing it into exile where it will rage and rage and not die, hold it up to the light. See its true face, perhaps as the scared, lonely, starved-of-love child within that cannot imagine belonging to the whole.
If we hope to find some laying down of arms, some end to the violence, hate, and division we see in the world. Perhaps we can start somewhere we truly have control, our own hearts. No one can say what the power of this could be. Maybe if enough of us allow our inner terrorists to finally shed the tears they need to shed, feel the warmth of love against their skin, maybe there will be a little more peace for all of us.
These profound shifts to not just affect our own psyche. They ripple out into the world. At the very least, when we go to the protest, the poll, the activism work, our efforts are amplified by love. There is nothing left for the enemy to fight against. And so, he crumbles.
In this portal, we will experience a process to alchemize the enemy within. Through light movement and ritual, we can turn the hard, cold stone into oceans of love. We’ll end with a sweet meditation to harmonize your energy, leaving you feeling the blessing of your own deepest love, greatest medicine of all.
